Engineering training center is the important part of State Demonstration Center of Experimental Teaching of Mechanical Base, Chongqing demonstration center of experimental teaching and university-level experimental center, an engineering training base for all students in the University. Located in Huxi campus, the Center occupies over 9000m2 and is equipped with 490 experimental equipments. The Center consists of five teaching modules (namely, milling, planning, grinding and non-traditional machining; bench work, disassembly and assembly and plotting; metal lathe; material shaping and heat treatment; electrics and electronics), teaching-research office of electromechanical innovation, teaching quality assurance group and center office. The Center established two training courses, Metal Working Practice and Electronics Practice, and carries out engineering training for 6000 undergraduates every year, covering 35 specialties in 15 colleges involving in science, engineering, biological discipline and human discipline.
